You have to be sure that you arent giving your horse any chances to get parasites, which is why it is so important to keep your horses living quarters clean and free of debris.

The most common parasites are going to happen when your horse is living in a place that is dirty or not cleaned regularly. These parasites are going to live in the feces of your horse, and if your horse steps in them, he will be able to bring them right back into his body.
