Because of this need to be upright, it should be no surprise to learn that your horse's legs are the most important part of his body. Not only do they carry all of his weight. The quality of your horse's coat, hoof and skin is a good indicator of your horse's general health and the adequacy of his diet. Your horse should have a a sleek, glowing coat and supple, healthy skin. If that is not the case, check your horse's diet and if necesaary have your vet do an examination.
